Frank Stagnaro asked Mike Maier to drive his car for the third year in a row at the SCCA Solo 2 Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska. This year was a little different though, a great big beautiful site and a new ladies class driver, Brianne Maier (Mike's wife)! Liz burger couldn't make it this year so Brianne was on her own in the ladies class. By the end of the week Mike took his third national title in five years and Brianne won for here first time. Frank ended up conning his way back to seventh but without his unbelievable car preparation the Maier's would not have swept the class. If this wasn't good enough the 2nd place car of Jesus Villarreal is a Maier built car, as well.
