Bill
Maier founded Maier Racing Enterprises in 1969 at a time when
it was extremely difficult to locate Mustang parts. He started
the company to supply Ford Motorsport
|
| Components
to the general public and racers. In 1972 Maier began to produce
Fiberglass parts for both Mustangs and Shelbys |
|
Since 1969 the company has grown from the garage of Bill Maier's
home to a 13,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Over the
years Maier has influenced the evolution of the Mustang by introducing
a variety of new ideas. Products such as mass produced flared
fenders originated from the drawing boards of Maier Racing. |
|
|
Currently
Maier designs and manufactures composites and suspension products
for 1965 - 1998 Ford Mustangs. These products are designed for
both racing and street use. |

|
| Maier manufactures
both obsolete and new products carrying everything from the
newest suspension designs to the impossible to find original
Shelby reproduction panels. |
| Influenced
by Bill Maier's Racing career, the company has always been
heavily involved in the racing scene with a product line supplying
a wide range of race parts. Maier's knowledge of the racing
industry has allowed for it to pull composite and suspension
designs directly from race applications for use with high performance
street cars. For this reason Maier is known as a supplier of
superior performance parts. Maier doesn't go to the racing
tech books for information because Maier is the source of the
information. |

K&N Air
filters chose Mike Maier to be their test driver and crew
chief of their brand new USAC Ford Focus
midget
team for 2006. "The season proved to be a challenge
but we learned a lot and we finished the season with
some great results", says Mike Maier. The
team did just that. Having no previous experience in
circle track racing the team had multiple second

place
finishes, track record along with a pole amongst numerous top
5 finishes. Every thing about the team was new. Laura Porter
age 17 is the driver with Mike Maier, Jason Fletcher and
Adam Gerow as the guys making up the crew. "It just
worked out great", says Mike. Mike and the team are
looking forward to next season. Look for more information

Maier Suspension Shop
Here at Maier Racing we are proud of our employee's. We feel that
you should know who is hand-making every product you buy. Here's
a small thank you to our guys and a little information about them. |
 |
Erik
Shantin is a guy who is all about taking what ever he does
to the
extreme. Whether it is snowboarding, riding dirt bikes,
or racing his cars he is full throttle. When we first met
Erik he had taught himself how to weld and fabricate Bar
Stool |
| Racers out of
his garage. Now he is producing all of our custom work form
cages, new product, and a ton of installations. When you
here about your buddy’s car with a cool new Maier Racing
cage this is the man who made it happen. |
 |
|
Auston
Fernandez grew up watching his dad race at the local circle
tracks.
Ever since then he has been a fan of anything fast. Like
most of us, if we want something we've go to make it happen
ourselves. In Auston's case itwas living,
eating, breathing racing. He started
welding for various shops then found Maier Racing.
|

|

|
Now he
has built a 1973 Monte
Carlo Enduro car in the evenings while handling all of our
production needs during the day. Auston is the guy who makes
all of our products from sub-frame connectors to spring plates.
So when you see a weld on a Maier Racing part that looks
like a roll of nickels you know where it came from. |
|
|
|
Simply put, Maier Racing is here to serve the Mustang enthusiast
with quality performance.
